HI Everyone,
Forgive me for not getting the blog up sooner. We had some website issues, but now have them resolved. If you want more more updates, please check out our Instagram page.
The last two days the students have been working really hard, I mean really hard. We have been moving a lot of dirt to level ground to start building a training center. It has been hard, dusty work, but the students have jumped fully into the work. We have had other students tying rebar for the footers we hope to pour on Friday.
Our lunches have been spent at a local no-cost daycare. The meals we have purchased for the week will help feed the day care for this week as well as the next two weeks. Pretty cool! Tomorrow we will be able to spend some time playing with the children as they have been in classes the last two days.
Today was our first day of full sun. Thankfully we are working close to the coast so it hasn’t been too hot.
Tomorrow we will continue to work on the land and I will share more on the blog as well as on Insta about the project we have started. We are hopeful that this will really benefit people in the community long term!
