Be2Live is excited to announce that Shane and Amanda Burge have joined our Be2Live staff. The Burges arrived in La Mision, Mexico on May 27th after driving their family (Micah 10 and Isaiah 9) across country from Indiana arriving just in time for our next three back to back to back Mexico trips with 150 high school students and adults.
In 2017 Amanda volunteered on two of or summer trips and like most people, experienced a life changing trip. Later that summer both Shane and Amanda came to Mexico on a Be2Live trip to explore and consider what God might be calling them to do. In 2018, they decided to make huge life changing decision to move to Mexico. Over the course of the next year and a half they practically sold everything, they sold their house, their business, and made preparations to move. It has been exciting to see how God has provided every step of the way for them. If you get a chance, ask them their story. It’s pretty amazing!
Shane and Amanda bring unique and much needed gifts to help Be2Live grow vision and widen our impact as we finish up our 10th year as Be2Live. It is our hope to inspire more people to change their world. Shane will over see our projects and church relations while Amanda will over see our school relations, development, and marketing.
Please pray for them and their two boys as they make their transition into a different country and settle into a different way of life. We are thankful that the Burges have taken this step of faith and has joined Be2Live. Join us in welcoming them to the Be2Live family.
