We are celebrating 15 years of Be2Live!

If you are here chances are you have been on a Mexico trip, sent a son or daughter on a Mexico trip or have been supporting either financially or prayerfully.

If you have been on a trip, we miss you. When we drive around northern Baja from Tijuana to Valle de Guadalupe we see so many projects with your finger prints on. How about mount Diablo? Or the skittle house?

Remember the tile line to the roof at Siloe? So many amazing organizations we have partnered with over the years with so many of you.

So just like a quince marks a time in life of growth and transition, Be2Live is growing and transitioning.

First, be assured we will still be offering meaningful life changing service and learning trips for high School students, schools, churches and families. Those are not going away!

We love creating spaces for us all to wrestle with the deeper complexities of life while serving together.

But as we grow we will be focusing on three initiatives.

  1. The first is expanding the training center which is business and personal development for locals here in northern Baja. The transition from aid to sustainability is close to our heart and community sustainability is where we are going to focus. If you haven’t heard cycle one ladies are selling their wares and Baja-Lato is up and running. Our team of 8 with 4 local Mexicans earning a fair pay wage. You will hear more about them later, and our dream is to see more businesses and personal development.
  2. The second initiative is community development, coming along side the local middle school to provide after school programs, leadership classes, and personal growth opportunities. This is in the beginning stage and we need to build a strategic team to gather data and develop this program.
  3. Our last and third initiative is to provide Identity and Purpose coaching and retreats for you! Phil and I have been training on coaching people in their own identity, purpose and living free. Be2live has always been about helping people discover who they are more fully and their purpose in this world and we are taking this to the next level. We can’t wait to share more with you.

We know that everyone who has been on a Mexico or Ghana service trip the last 15 years have been deeply impacted and the community that you have served has been impacted as well. Our goal for our 15th year is to raise $75,000 for these three initiatives. WE NEED YOU TO HELP US MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
