Today was a hot, hot day here in Mexico…
Once again we divided into three teams:
La Mision School: We finished painting the main school building and some yard work. The School appreciates the extra help as it will save them some money that they can put into education.
La Hermosa Orphanage: Students continued to spread crushed rock to help raise the ground in an area where they hope to construct more dorms for children in the near future. Other students prepared and leveled land for another concrete slab that we hope to pour either tomorrow or Friday.
Berea House: A future house in town that will be home to men recovering from addiction (nobody is staying there yet). Students worked on putting a fresh coat of paint on the house.
Tomorrow we will work for a half-day before heading to the beach for a much-needed rest and fun. Afterward, we will have carne asada tacos back at our housing area.
Until tomorrow…
Photos will be posted a little later.
