Today was another hot, dry, and sunny day here in Mexico.
This morning we divided into teams and worked to finish a few of our projects. We finished securing the nets around the basketball court. Finished painting the tiny house and weeded around it. We also removed 4 posts close to the basketball court that were no longer needed.
Another team began a new project of painting the cabinet doors in the kitchen. We hope to finish this project tomorrow.
We worked until 1:00 when we had lunched. Most of the students along with the adults were pretty tired from working in the sun. So we took the afternoon to relax, play some games, take a nap. Then play with the children once they were done with school.
Tonight Aaron, one of our Mexican hosts, shared his testimony of how God rescued him from a very difficult life. Then the children came to our camp for some S’mores. We then finished the night with worship.
Tomorrow is our last full day as we will finish a few projects that are left. We will also provide pizza for lunch for the children and then play with them in the afternoon.
